About Department
Department of Civil Engineering reflects importance and legacy of the discipline. Civil Engineering has to do with civilization. With civilization has evolved Civil Engineering and with Civil Engineering has developed civilization. Since shelter is one of the essential needs of survival and building a safe, secured and cozy shelter is an instinct, it will not be an exaggeration to say that Civil Engineering is the most basic branch of Engineering. It is a discipline that deals with the planning, designing, construction and maintenance of the structures, including residential and industrial buildings, airports, docks, roadways, railways, bridges, canals and dams. It also deals with research and testing of construction materials, pollution control, water treatment and sewage treatment. It is traditionally broken into several subdisciplines like environmental engineering, geotechnical engineering, structural engineering, earthquake engineering, transportation engineering, water resources engineering, offshore engineering, surveying, quantity surveying and construction management

The aim of ICACE is to bring together academicians, industry personnel and researchers working in the field of Civil Engineering. This conference is a great opportunityfor all Civil Engineers to share ideas, innovations, challenges and shed light on the recent advances in this vast field.

Civil Engineering department strives to produce globally adaptive professionals to ensure sustainable growth of society
